TMNT Classic Collection 6-Inch Retro Series Figures

So right after I buy the set from the new Nickelodeon series, I found out there was another set that was done to look like the classic cartoon series. At first i was hesitant since I already have figures from the 25th Anniversary release, but when I Googled the pictures, I was immediately sold.





These figures stand 6 inches high (slightly taller than the Nickelodeon figs) and boast 34 points of articulation! Fingers, torso, knees, all the wacky poses that you wanted your Turtles in before are now possible.  The weapons are detailed (see Mikey's nun-chucks, with actual metal links) and it comes with a sewer cap as a stand for each Turtle, which is basically begging you to take them out of the packaging.

The packaging itself is done nicely. Huge classic TMNT logo on the top, and a graphic of our favourite foursome on the front. I tend to like small details, so when i look on top of the plastic area of the packaging, i notice that there is a mold that reads "City Sewer" which can be easily overlooked, and some ooze dripping down the sides too.

The Retro line is a little more steep in terms of price, in comparison to the Nickelodeon line ($23 compared to $11), but I believe the investment is well worth it, and if you look around in your local comic shops, you might even find it for a bit cheaper.
